I am 36 years old and I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. Up 20 lbs, down 20 lbs…up 30 lbs, down 10 lbs. I finally reached a max weight of 242 lbs at 5’8” and I knew that I had to do something. Dr Liu was my primary doctor, so I asked her about her weight loss program. In a very low pressure way, she explained the costs (which were about what I was spending on food anyway, because I ate out a lot) and that I had the potential to lose 50 lbs in 90 days. That seemed like an incredibly impossible feat, but I had nothing to lose (except fat), so I gave it a try. With her and her staff’s help and support, I lost about 50 lbs in exactly 90 days. Then I went on to lose another 50 lbs on my own following a healthy diet that she suggested. My lowest weight was 142 lbs (everyone was telling me I was too thin), and now I weigh 158 lbs about 2 years later. I am committed to never gaining my weight back, but if my weight ever starts to get out of hand, I know I can turn to Dr. Liu’s office for help and support.
