As I enter the 39th chapter of my life, I would like to let you into my weight loss journey. Since I can remember, I have always been Gordita, however for me it was never an issue because I have always thought I was the cutest creature ever and there was no one to get me out of that mindset. Keep in mind that I don’t want to be skinny, I just want to be healthy. After many failed attempts to lose weight, I decided it was time to take control of my health and did the bariatric sleeve and lost about 70lb. However, life always has a way to surprise us. I couldn’t continue losing weight. Out of the 70lb lost I gained, so I went back to what I learned while I was under the care of my surgeon and nutritionist, but it did not work because more health issues came out. So, five years after my surgery I decide to get a revision of my first surgery but only went down 30lb and got stuck. Long story short, a family member had great success with a nutritionist, so I decided to give it a try. Today I can proudly say that for the first time in about 20 years I am below 200lb, and it feels so unreal and exciting all at the same time . So, on my 39th birthday I want to show my before and after of each one of the processes I have been in since 2016. Super proud of the discipline I have gained in the last seven months. I keep myself
motivated but there is nothing better than to be consistent in everything we do… I still have more work to do but I can certainly say the last two years have been very valuable to me in the full extent of the word. And with that being said, Happy Birthday to me!
